Second Chance is proud to serve the Greater Baltimore community through our Outbound Donations program. We welcome any 501(c)3 non-profit organizations in the area who are in need of items that Second Chance has in our 400,000+ square foot retail footprint to contact us and see if we can help.
Second Chance frequently partners with non-profits and other organizations across Maryland to provide needed goods at no charge. We partner with schools, churches, mutual aid organizations and more to help those organizations fulfill their missions. When you donate something to Second Chance, you’re not only helping our mission of retraining, reclaiming and renewing; you’re helping countless other organizations who are teaching children, housing and furnishing people experiencing homelessness, providing for those experiencing food insecurity, and more.
Second Chance partnered with the Cylburn Arboretum with an outbound donation of building materials to assist in the refurnishing and reintroduction of the Cylburn Arboretum Demonstration Gardens. When you donate to us, whether it’s a home you’re renovating, or gently-used goods in good condition, you’re not just helping Second Chance with our mission to provide good-quality “green” jobs to re-entering citizens and other people experiencing trouble finding work. You’re helping other organizations in the Greater Baltimore area, like HOPE For All, Living Classrooms, the BMore Community Fridge Network, the Baltimore Furniture Bank, and more.
