Do you purchase or trade architectural salvage and antiques, or only accept tax deductible donations?
We are always interested in acquiring new and interesting inventory. While generally we do not purchase or trade items, because the amount of tax deduction you can obtain from a donation often far exceeds its market value, you may call us to discuss your item specifically.

If I want to make a donation, will you come and pick it up?
Yes.  Please click this link to setup a donation.  We will respond withing 24 hours to setup a pickup time.

If I have a whole house that is being demolished or renovated, will you come and do the deconstruction?
We are always interested in deconstruction projects, but there are many variables we must consider. Please call us so we can discuss your project specifically. Please click here if you would like Second Chance to contact you about deconstruction.

What if I buy something big and I can't take it home right away?
We have a Sold and Hold policy for folks who need time to pick up their purchase. We will hold your purchase for 10 days from the date of purchase. After 10 days; the hold tag is removed and the materials are returned to the floor for sale. If you return after 10 days and the material is still available; a hold/release fee of $10 a day applies. If the order is cancelled within 10 days of purchase; the standard return policy applies. All sales are final after 10 days.

 Do you know a good tub and sink refinisher, a paint stripper, or an iron refinisher?
We do, and while Second Chance cannot be responsible for the quality of service you receive from our recommendations, we hope you will find them useful. See Services in our Salvage Search menu.

What is your return policy?

Return Policy

  • Returns will be accepted with proof of purchase up to 10 calendar days from date of purchase
  • Returns will not be accepted after 10 calendar days.
  • All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • No cash refunds.
  • Checks will be mailed to refund sales paid by cash/check or store credit will be given.
  • Discounted or Clearance items are FINAL SALE and can not be returned.

Sold But Staying Policy

  • Items must be picked up within 10 calendar days of purchase date.
  • After 10 calendars days Items not picked up will be retagged and made available for sale.
  • If items are still available after 10 calendar days a $10 per day storage fee will be charged to the customer before items can be claimed.
